Our mission is to match middle and high school students with high-quality volunteer tutors who can help them learn biology with greater understanding and confidence. We believe that a student’s curiosity should have room to grow, even when a lesson feels difficult.
Biology connects us to the living world, but its vocabulary, diagrams, and processes can be challenging. A supportive tutor can help students break down unfamiliar ideas, ask questions freely, and connect what they are learning to examples that make sense.
We aim to make thoughtful matches based on the student’s learning needs and the biology topics they want to explore. We seek volunteer tutors who combine strong biology knowledge with patience, clear communication, and a commitment to helping others learn.
Our goal goes beyond finishing an assignment or preparing for a test. Through free tutoring and mentorship, we want students to build lasting study habits, explain concepts in their own words, and feel more confident taking on the next challenge.
Bio Mentor Network brings together students who want to learn and volunteers who want to make a difference. Whether you are working through a difficult concept or ready to share your knowledge, there is a place for you in our community.
